Job Description

Title: Graduate Engineer
Department: MillerKnoll Specials Engineering
Reporting To: Team Leader, MillerKnoll Specials, Bengaluru

Role Purpose: As a Graduate Engineer, you will work under direct supervision, managing CAD tasks for small to medium-sized projects. Your role will require creativity, technical knowledge, and collaboration within a team environment to solve basic engineering issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete engineering tasks under leadership guidance.
  • Proficient in tools such as Pro E, PDM Link, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Adhere to standard engineering processes to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with senior engineers for mentoring and guidance.
  • Modify existing designs with an understanding of design intent.
  • Manage CAD deliverables for small to medium design initiatives.
  • Effectively engage and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support part and assembly design input for assigned projects.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Creo Parametric, focusing on solid modeling and the creation of engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with Windchill and Family Tables.
  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with a keen ability to collaborate effectively in a team.

Personal Profile & Competencies

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering projects or product development is preferred.
  • Proficient in creating accurate engineering drawings and communicating effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and adapt to change.
