What You Will Do in This Job:

As a Software Engineer at Chevron, you will help create and improve software programs. You will write code, test it, and make sure it works well. You will also work with other teams to come up with new ways to solve problems using technology.
Your tasks will include:
– Writing code to create software that helps solve problems
– Deploying the software (making it available for use)
– Working with other teams to develop new software ideas
– Using tools to make sure the software works well and can be improved easily
You will also get to work with cloud technologies and help manage data to make sure the software runs smoothly. This job involves working with global teams, meaning you will communicate and collaborate with people from different parts of the world.
What You Need to Qualify:
– You need to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field, or have experience in a similar area.
– You should be graduating soon (by July 2025) or have already graduated with less than 2 years of work experience.
– You should know how to code in languages like C#, C++, Python, Java, or SQL.
– You need to understand how to work with tools like GitFlow, which is used for organizing and managing code changes.
– It’s helpful if you know about cloud technologies like Azure and DevOps tools, which are used for building and managing software.
Additional Requirements:
– You must be a citizen of India or have Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) status to work in India.
– You need to be able to work in India without needing visa sponsorship.
– You will also need to provide your academic transcript (a document that shows your grades) when applying for this job.
